Designing Data Collection Forms

Before collecting data, you need to design a data collection form. This form will help you collect data accurately and quickly, with all the necessary information for later data analysis.

1. Creating a New Data Collection Form​

To create a new data collection form, please select Main Menu > Collection Form > Add New

Press the "+" button to add properties to the form's data.

2. Applying the Collection Form​

After creating the collection form, you need to apply it to your project. Please select Main Menu > Project > Collection Form and choose the form you just created.

The form currently applied will be highlighted in green. In the image above, the form Western Rice Field is being used for data collection.

3. Editing the Collection Form​

Steps to edit the collection form:

  1. Go to the form list screen Main Menu > Collection Form.
  2. Swipe the form you want to edit to the left to open options.
  1. Select to edit the form.

Note: Editing the collection form means you can only create new properties, but cannot delete or modify existing ones, as deleting or modifying properties may result in the loss of already collected data.
